Mike & Nikki eloped to the Lake District with absolute timeless style and a feeling of old time cinema. This gorgeous pair could have been stars in an old Hollywood Romance together as we explored the Lake District from Lake Windermere to the heights of the Kirkstone Pass. We went in search for beautiful lakes and the perfect mountain top back drops and I shot on some old lenses from the 60’s to get a really old filmic look to the photographs over the misty mountains.
I need to express my deepest thanks to these guys for trusting me to traverse mountains and walking over the perfect jetties to get some epic, atmospheric photographs. The sun wasn’t on our side this day, but when you ebrace the darky misty atmosphere of a rainy day in the Lakes, good things happen.
