If you’re a lover of rustic barn weddings, sentimental details and the floatiest of dresses, then Amanda & Ryan’s summer wedding at the Normans in York is definitely for you.
This wonderful couple had such a heartfelt day full of their own style and charm. Have you ever thought about forgoing the tradition of having a wedding cake and are looking for an alternative? Then I would very much like to draw your attention to the incredible box of rainbow meringue kisses that these guys had. Genius!
I can’t wait for you to see the beautiful details Amanda chose and put together for her and her girls. From embellished bridesmaids dresses to the flower crown Amanda wore over her super floaty Catherine Dean veil.
Amanda had picked the perfect flowers to compliment the farm/barn setting of the wedding with a subtle pastel pallet of colours and some dried wheat thrown in for good measure. The small framed photograph of her dad wound into the bouquet, to ensure he was with her and her mum as they walked down the aisle to meet Ryan was the most heartwarming detail.
These guys really were blessed with the most wonderful day and the prefect atmosphere. I was so honoured to be the one to capture it for them, I could have photographed them all day in the beautiful evening light!
