It was at sunset, under the stars and by a candle lit beach cave in Portugal that Andy swept Kirsty off her feet with a magical proposal. He had nervously carried the ring all day before asking Kirsty to be his wife. Naturally, Kirsty was elated and said ‘YES!’ (who could say ‘no’ to such a thoughtful, romantic gesture!?) and the rest, as they say, is history.
Their wedding echoed these romantic sentiments, a beautiful winter wedding day with soft beautiful blooms, full of laughter and love. Kirsty described her wedding day as ‘a truly magical, make you feel warm and fuzzy day, full to the brim with love, laughter, joy and happiness.’ I cannot find the words to describe it any better myself!
This one is for lovers of epic bouquets and vintage hair.
I’m always so grateful to my couples for choosing me to capture their day and Kirsty & Andy shared with me why they chose me to capture theirs;
“Photography is a big passion of mine and it was such an important part for me. I could tell you did more than just document the day, we wanted more than that, we wanted beautiful photos and I knew as soon as I saw your work that we would get not only beautiful photos that would last a lifetime and bring back amazing memories but we would also get a little piece of art too! And boy did we get that!”
